Stepping up from the KM-40B, the Hoshizaki KM-55B is a self-contained crescent ice maker producing up to 53kg of ice every 24 hours with a 23kg built-in storage bin — a good match for busier bars needing a bit more buffer between service. The half-moon shaped ice resists clumping in the bin and works equally well dropped into drinks or packed around bottles for chilled display.
