The Hoshizaki IM-240XPE-U brings UV-C sanitisation to the stacking extension format, adding a second ice-making head on top of a compatible IM-240D base unit and doubling capacity while sharing the same storage bin below. It produces up to 210kg of large cubes every 24 hours in its own right. A UV-C lamp cycles through its water tank between fills to cut bacterial build-up, alongside the closed water circuit and automated cleaning shared across the IM Cube range.
