The Hoshizaki IM-240XPE-32 is a stacking extension unit that adds a second ice-making head on top of a compatible IM-240D base unit, doubling capacity while sharing the same storage bin below. It produces up to 190kg of extra large cubes every 24 hours in its own right, running its own closed water circuit and automated cleaning cycle to keep the process protected from contamination. A variable-speed DC pump motor adjusts water flow through each stage to reduce chipped or cloudy cubes. Running on R290 refrigerant, it draws 0.865kW and rejects 2.25kW of heat.
