The Hoshizaki IM-240XPE-23 is a stacking extension unit that adds a second ice-making head on top of a compatible IM-240D base unit, doubling capacity while sharing the same storage bin below. It produces up to 180kg of medium cubes every 24 hours in its own right, with its own closed water circuit and automated cleaning cycle protecting the process from contamination. A variable-speed DC pump motor manages water flow across each stage to prevent chipped or cloudy cubes. Running on R290 refrigerant, it draws 0.87kW and rejects 2.25kW of heat.
