The Hoshizaki IM-240DWPE-U pairs UV-C sanitisation with water cooling in the modular, stackable cube format, sitting on a separate storage bin rather than an integrated one. It produces up to 209kg of large cubes every 24 hours and pairs with Hoshizaki's B-340SB storage bin (sold separately). A UV-C lamp cycles through the water tank between fills to cut bacterial build-up, alongside the closed water circuit and automated cleaning shared across the IM Cube range. Water cooling keeps it quieter and cooler-running than air-cooled equivalents, though it needs a permanent water supply and drain.
