The Hoshizaki FM-60KE-HC is a compact, self-contained flake ice maker producing up to 65kg of ice every 24 hours, with an 18kg storage bin — the smallest self-contained flaker in the FM range. Flake ice's light, granular texture cools quickly without freezer burn, making it well suited to fish and produce display as well as drinks service. It runs on R290, a natural refrigerant, and uses carbon graphite bushings in place of conventional ball bearings, so it runs without grease and resists calcification.
